About The Trainer
Quality Dog Training
Maria is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer with over 10 years of experience working with dogs of all breeds, ages, and sizes. She firmly believes that every dog is trainable.
Maria’s journey began with volunteering at rescue organizations and fostering shelter dogs to prepare them for their forever homes. In 2014, she graduated from Animal Behavior College. Since 2019, Maria has been dedicated to teaching pet parents how to train their dogs in both group and private settings.
Certified through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers, Maria stays current with the latest training methods and advanced behavioral techniques through ongoing professional development courses.
In 2021, Maria launched her own dog training business to provide pet parents with additional support beyond traditional once-a-week classroom training sessions.
Maria conducts training sessions in diverse environments, including in-home, off-site locations, during walks, and in group settings.
Training Philosophy
Maria is experienced in humane science-based techniques as well as multiple other training methods. She has identified least intrusive and minimally aversive training methods to be most effective in change unwanted behavior and improve state of mind.
Maria’s goal is for both dogs and pet parents to benefit from training, help foster better understanding for particular types of behavior, and to help create harmony at home.
Maria is passionate about teaching pet parents how they can be benevolent leaders, leading to well-mannered dogs regardless of age. It’s never too late to start training your dog!
